  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: I am Licens'd Curate of this Parish & reside in the Parsonage House Salary £45 per Annum. Health will not permit Residence on my Rectory of Exton Somerset but have a Resident Curate.

  2. Other benefices: I have the Rectory of Exton in Possession & the Advowson of Creech St Michael (except the <life> Interest of a very old Incumbent) both in Somersetshire.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I perform Divine Service at Clist St Laurence (once a Day in the Interval of Clisthydon Service) two Sunday's of the month. Distance one mile from Clisthydon.

  4. Frequency of divine service: I perform Divine Service & preach twice every Lord's Day in my Church.

  5. Frequency of communion: I administer the Lord's Supper Eight times in the year & have about thirty Communicants.

  6. Catechising of children: I Catechise the Youth of my Parish every Sunday afternoon from Midsummer to Michaelmas.

  7. Church fabric: Church & Chancel are in good repair, Church-Yard well kept, All things are decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: The Rector purposes (God willing) to attend your Lordships Primary Visitation & can give (I apprehend) the most Satisfactory answer to this Query.

  9. Number of families: I have fifty seven Houses in my Parish containing fifty nine families.

  10. Chapels: I have no Chapel within my Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: I have no reputed Papist or Dissenting Meeting house of any Denomination within my Parish.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: I have a publick <writing> School within my Parish, endow'd in the year 1621 by the Rev'd Dr Robert Hall then Rector of the Parish with a £15 per annum Salary for a Schoolmaster (nominated by the Rector) payable out of the Manor of Broadwood Kelly in the Parish of Oakampton Devon. School masters place now vacant by Death.

  13. Charity: I have within my Parish a Donation of five pounds per Annum for apprenticing Poor Boys the same Donor as above & payable out of the same Manor & a field left at £2 per annum for the benefit of Labourers all Duly applied

    Ordain'd Deacon 11 June 1775 & Priest Septr 24: 1775 by the late Rt Revd Lord Bishop of Lincoln.
